This project consisted of a new truck dump facility and relocation of the primary crusher, apron feeder and control tower weighing over 150,000 tons. The scope of work included the construction of a 58 foot high cast-in-place concrete retaining wall system, a massive dump pocket, crusher foundations, over 1,000 linear feet of overland conveyor, and all associated electrical, mechanical and piping. All work was completed on schedule while the mine remained in operation.

CORTEZ HILLS MECHANICAL

The project consisted of construction services for the piping and mechanical work. The project has 3 locations each about 3 miles apart on the property. The work involved installing a new gyratory crusher and its associated support equipment and piping. It also included the piping, mechanical and equipment work at the new truck shop (for 400 Ton haul trucks), truck wash facility, and lube room. This work also incorporated the piping and mechanical for the CIL tanks in the process building and the pregnant and barren systems.

The Cortez Pipeline construction project included the installation, commissioning and start-up of a 3,000 TPD gold recovery plant. The facilities include grinding, flotation, refining, tailings circuits, ball and sag mill, process piping and conveying. Construction also included approximately 1,000 tons of structural steel, four elevated pre-engineering MCC electrical rooms, 300 HP agitators and process screen.
