WEST BRAVO DOME COMPRESSOR STATION

This project included the construction of a grassroots CO2 Compressor Station. The scope-of-work performed by Bodell included equipment installation, piping, building construction, mechanical and electrical work. Primary compression equipment included two Dresser Rand HHE-VL pedestal-mount compressors and all related equipment.

PHOENIX EXPANSION PROJECT

This project consisted of the expansion of two existing natural gas compressor stations located at Bloomfield, NM and Kingman, AZ. Two new cooling towers were installed at Bloomfield and the work at both sites included extensive piping modifications. Both sites are Department of Transportation facilities.

GREATER NATURAL BUTTES PROCESSING PLANT

This grass roots gas compression project included one primary site and four collector sites. The scope of work involved installation of equipment foundations and approximately 3,000 drilled piers utilizing in excess of 10,000 cubic yards of concrete and over 1.1 million pounds of reinforcing steel. This project also included the installation of the Refrigerant Condensator Structural Steel placement.

WEBSTER HILL COMPRESSION STATION

This project was a new grass roots gas compression / gathering station, and involved civil, structural and mechanical disciplines. The station included two each JGZ-4/Caterpillar 3612 Compressor packages from Hanover and all of the associated foundations, structural steel, equipment and piping. There were approximately 300 drilled piers up to 50 feet deep, over 2000 cy of concrete and over 15,000 linear feet of pipe ranging in size up to 24" diameter.

KERN RIVER EXPANSION PROJECT - DAGGETT METER STATION

The Kern River 2002 Expansion of Daggett Meter Station consisted of the tie in of a new 36" pipeline and station modifications. This included updating the existing meter station with ultrasonic flow capacity. Pipe sizes ranging from 4" to 42" were field fabricated and installed. All fabrication, hydro testing, and coatings were performed on site. Construction of the pipeline was performed on live lines, utilizing all required DOT training and inspections.

RABBIT BRUSH COMPRESSION STATION

Work included all site excavation and backfill, 300 drilled piers approximately 50 feet deep, all concrete equipment and pipe rack foundations, building foundations, and furnished and installed embed steel and anchor bolts for equipment and pipe installation.

KERN RIVER EXPANSION - MUDDY CREEK COMPRESSOR STATION

The Kern River Expansion consisted of adding an additional 60,000 lb. compressor, a 30,000 lb. valve skid, a cooling fan and filter separator to the existing Muddy Creek Gas Compressor Station. This entailed forming and pouring the building foundations, building erection, piping and instrumentation. Pipe testing was performed to 1,800 lbs. and certified for natural gas service. The tie in to the existing plant was successfully performed during a 48-hour shutdown of the station.

PINEDALE COMPRESSOR STATION ADDITION

TESORO NEW VERTICAL EXCHANGER PROJECT
Oahu, Hawaii

This project involved the erection of a new 80" high Vertical Exchanger to include the fabrication and installation of piping ranging in size from 2" to 20" in diameter running through the existing facility and tied in to existing equipment and existing pipelines. Large bore pipe was 1 1/4 chrome moly which required pre-heat and post weld heat stress relieving and 100% x-ray after each type weld. Bodell Construction completed tie-ins within 38 hours of the 48 hour shutdown period.
